games youve played ALOT as a child

the only zelda game i've played for more than an hour (and beat) is link's awakening. took me about 3 games until i actually bothered to finish it. the ending sucked cuz the flying fish thing was ugly as sin

This was the only Zelda game I had, and it was on the GameBoy.
I had to have been less than 10, 'cause I first thought Link was Zelda.
I mean during my kid knowledge, if you were gonna name a game after someone, it would be the main character.
Anyways, I never beat the game. I got to the second castle and got stuck, and then years later I got a DS and couldn't play it anymore.

There was this ps1 game called jumping flash. I played the demo non stop but never beat the first level... I always died on some Ferris wheel but I always wanted to rent the game.
On that same demo there was some extreme board game. You could skateboard, roller blade and bicycle. I just love punching the shit out of other people. The demos were usually called
Sony underground and my dad would always get them.

I played the shit out of star fox 64. I sucked at it as a kid and could never beat the second level, the c-buttons were too hard for me to use at the time and my vision was bad and it took a few times to do a u-turn. My siblings always kicked my ass but it was cool to actually play 4 player.

Killer Instinct was a game of its time. I will never ever be good at it. I always picked the raptor and do cheap same 3 combo's while my brother could do every move for every character.

A lot of wrestling games were played a lot. Such as Royal Rumble for sega. I sucked at tapping the buttons and it was pretty much a joke for my siblings to let me win.

Man I used to play this game for HOURS with friends
I remember staying up all night at a friends house trying to beat it.  It was so freaking hard!!
Looking back, the sound effects are fucking hilarious
