and i consider it to be really funny that doctors tried to help her (with the flu shot), it backfired (with a 1 in a million chance) and now everyone is upset and will probably soon try to get this flu shot banned, causing a lot of other people to get sick. It's overreaction at it's finest, but for her, for her it must suck.

oh the flu shot will defintely not be banned, in fact they are making millions more
obama declared a national emergency to widen supplies and help hospitals
although i won't be getting a flu shot myself. if i get the flu i will wait it out and let my body take care of it. i haven't gotten the flu in 3 or 4 years anyway.
besides, the last time there was a swine flu scare in the 70's, the vaccine killed more people than the actual flu did

The vaccine is free to any Australian that is in risk. And remember we've made technological advancements in medicine since the 1970's so the vaccine will be safer than the one in the 1970's.

the vaccine is available for every american 'in risk'. but many people in the medical profession aren't interested in getting one, and obama has chosen to not even to vaccinate his daughters. most people flocking to get one have bought into the fear of swine flu, even though far more people have died from common flu strains this year, by about ten to one.

the only thing stupid about this is the ridiculous H1N1 hype. the vaccine does not guarantee protection from the flu, and if you get it your risks of dying are next to zero.
