Dr. Rumble Munky is the senior Optometrist in the practice. He graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science degree and went on to complete his doctorate in Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He is a member of the California Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, and the Contra Costa - Alameda County Optometric Association. Dr. Martin practices full scope Optometry, having been in practice for 41 years-with 20 years at the present location. His specialties include difficult cases of contact lens fitting, 12 years of Lasik management, and visual learning disabilities. He is well qualified to manage and diagnose diseases of the eye with a Certification of diagnostics and treatment of the eye. Along the way he has been a contact lens and solution consultant for American Optical, developed a vision screening program for the handicapped in Contra Costa County, and has been a consultant for the Mount Diablo School System for the past 25 years. He has lectured to the Kindergarten Teachers Association and is the director of a visual screening program for ten private schools. He enjoys sailing, golf, biking and skiing, and lots of traveling with his wife. His four grandkids keep him very busy.

I once had a pilonidal cyst. It grew to the size of a basket ball. Then one fateful day someone sat next to me with a safety pin sticking out of their bag. They accidentally popped the cyst and... OH MAN!!! Did that shit stink?
