For those who don't know what OS-Tan is, its an anime personification of various operating systems as people (mostly girls) that has been quite popular in Japan on the Futaba Channel as sort of a funny mini series the past couple of years.

Operating systems are personified by how they preform, for instance ME is a clumsy idiot girl always causing problems, doing stupid stuff like putting a can of soda in the microwave, or losing her temper with a ! on her chest, 95 always wears a komono, XP has a large chest and so on.


Background, left (clockwise): Windows 98SE (in box), Windows 95, Symantec Antivirus (male), Windows 2000 (in front), Windows Server 2003 (fish outfit, with cat), Windows 98 (unusual form), Windows XP (holding skirt). Although I am thoroughly disappointed by the absence of Mac operating systems...or maybe they are the villains.

Ya, my sentiments exactly.  I only just heard about this series when Animegamer first mentioned it in this topic.  I haven't seen any other videos aside from the YouTube links, but there were a few news stories that said it was coming soon.  I'm assuming so far it's only available in Japan.

Unless some generous, kind soul out there produces a free fansub.
