mostly because I do know that you were always opposed to the videogame shit spewed everywhere AND critical of NG's flaws, and while my post was pretty frivolous I still do stand by my statements, because i do think they have some merit

just as an example, and the one i thought of first, your robotic octopus snowman little thing not only has the ng preloader and ad in it, it also has NEWGROUNDS 2008 in the intro sequence. this may be an oddity but it's an example of how you DID brand your stuff for newgrounds on occasion, if not on your more lengthy works. in fairness this was a pretty petty way to make my point

i also know you often submitted work expecting to get shitty reviews and be underappreciated and that's something that irked me because I really do like your movies and thought they were often wasted on the newgrounds audience. some of my favorite things you've made were parodies of other artists and their productions. i was also a big fan of your cartoon posts and was sad to see them go, and i think a lot of other people were as well. i figured if you'd honestly given up on the site and decided there was nothing worthwhile there you wouldn't've continued them, but what do i know

honestly the only part of ng that has a chance of being not total shit is the audio portal because nobody goes there. everything else is so overrun by idiots that the people with actual talent get driven out and replaced with "mario makes a funny", "tweens n' video game observations" and other assorted garbage. the community is so infested with idiots that there's no chance of them being driven out until another site takes ng's place, which isn't going to happen for a very long time.

same thing happened with usenet, kids. this is september 1993 all over again.

that doesnt make your point at all. I made that cartoon in a shitty last-ditch attempt to win money from the annual newgrounds christmas clusterfuck.
i gave up like halfway through. you'll also notice the ad doesnt work. and i spent alot more time on trying to get the ad to work than the cartoon itself.
because even if i didnt make it into the running for the contest (which i knew would happen because the cartoon was a short piece of garbage) i could at least maybe make a couple bucks off it.
feel free to talk to red mongoose and bug about that. i was like a madman that night trying to get that fucking ad to work.
by the next day i'd given up and just submitted the cartoon with a broken ad and a broken preloader.

i got alot more bad comments than good ones on those things anyway. i cant login to ng since i gave my account to hans, but im pretty sure the list of banned people from my page had to be somewhere in the hundreds.
id considered stopping them before i left the site anyway. either i was just getting comments from the same people i yakked to on aim everyday or i was getting comments like 'lol these cartoons are gay'   'the boogleys posts are better'  and my personal favorites  'OH GOD IM CUMMING AAAHHHHH'
although i think the one that really made me want to stop liking doing it was a comment that was like
