Amazon Prime: the internet's biggest $79 scam

[Nadroj0711]

well i've bought stuff from there a lot too and they've never forced me to pay an extra $79!!! maybe they don't like you

so i was going through my bank account and noticed a charge from AMZ*Prime Club for $79. I never signed up for Amazon.com's Prime Club, whatever it may have been. Apparently, it's Amazon's way of secretly charging members for "free" shipping. Some club. According to sources you are charged annually for the club membership. In order for that to have any financial benefit for the user, they'd have to order at least 40-50 things from Amazon every year. Since I order maybe three or four things from them, I called immediately to remove my unannounced membership to this so-called club.

if you guys ordered anything from amazon lately and it told you you could get free standard shipping, they have put you in their scam as well. check your bills, and if it's there, call some indian guy at 866-557-2820. tell them you never signed up for it, you don't want to be in it, and you want your $back. i got mine back.

screw you amazon

i had same experience but it was some white dude....
