people over here keep talking about our own edition of big brother, but when it's over nobody really cares about the people that were in it
they get a small part in some soap opera, the women pose for playboy and that's it

plus, I saw some news about the U.S.'s QI suddenly increasing the same day she died in one of those FAIL pics

She won the third series of Big Brother (UK) in 2002 or 2003 (I forgot). Anyways after that she generally turned into a 'famous because they're famous' celebrity and eventually ended up being worth over 3 million quid. For sitting in a house with cameras in it. Anyways many years later everyone forgets about her apart from the paparazzi and a select few idiots. And then she shows up on 'Celebrity Big Brother' and is blatantly racist towards an Indian actress (who is smalltime over here, but one of India's biggest stars back there). HUGE fuckin media uproar, everyone who didn't hate Jade hates her now (apart from racists)

A year or so passes, Jade gets cancer, loads of sob stories, blah blah blah, donates to loads of foundations with the money she didnt even deserve, and for some twisted reason is regarded as a national hero when she passes away. I know cancer's an awful thing and I feel sorry for her family, but the media whored out this woman's death. And this begs the question - why? What has Jade Goody done that resembles anything remotely significant? Does it really warrant (I'm not kidding) a statue, a musical, and a bunch of other things?

The worst part was when they started comparing her to Princess Diana, someone who tried so hard to do good for others. While Jade more then happily slapped her bulldog face on anything she could to just get money for herself (including an exercise dvd which became null when it turns out she got lipo rather than do the exercises.)
