i saw the andrew WK video in the theater today

in theaters around here if you show up early (before trailers) they show like half an hour of previews for stuff, mostly on tv. cartoon network advertises in theaters a lot. they used to show cartoon previews, but now it's stuff for cartoon network real. this time it was just andrew wk's "are you seeing this" washed up piece of crap

nielsen ratings is a private company - networks can make them say anything they want to make their slots sound more successful than they really are
the bottom line is that CNReal is a dud and they're trying to salvage what they can to make it sound like it's doing well

i dont trust neilsen for a second they have too big a margin of error

ratings are pretty accurate now that people have cable boxes

the issue is that networks can work with neilsen to skew the numbers by comparing them with other irrelevant slots to make it look like it was a success

This is just for this week:
The Truth
Last week all instances of Teen Titans/Billy & Mandy/etc. were replaced with SlamBall.
Teen Titans was moved to Boomerang.
This week TT's back at the same time it was replacing SlamBall...where it left off I guess.
SlamBall is exclusively weekends again.

Andrew W. K. has a new commercial that now sounds more like a desperate plea.
All or at least most instances of "Hearing what I said" have been removed during regular programming from what I can tell.
No new episodes for DBD and BrainRush.
Othersiders, Survive This, SlamBall will have new episodes.

The Good
There's some marathons too.
We kinda get something like "The Best Day Edder" With a small Ed, Edd, and Eddy Marathon on Wed., A Christmas in July on Fri., A Scooby Doo Marathon (but to put some behind the scenes promos for their new movie which was cool when it was the first movie, but now...), and a Johnny Test Marathon.

Chowder and Flapjack will have a complete Half Hour of New Episodes this Thursday (and I hope every other Thursday)
Flapjack is beginning Season 2, already.

The Bad:
League of Super Evil has been wiped from the Network

I dislike the fact LoSE was killed off, but it had a lot of references younger probably wouldn't get because the typical Saturday Morning Cartoon Villain archetype died-off. Sucks.

They need to show the Ed's Movie already. :/

That show was only being syndicated by Cartoon Network, it airs on Teletoon in Canada I think where it hasn't started a second season. The main character makes me think of Zim from Invader Zim too much though.

Also, with Ed, Edd n' Eddy, I really want to see it on CN too, but I'm guessing the reason why Ed, Edd n' Eddy is back on the schedule is because they're planning on airing the movie sooner than later.
