I really don't know if this April fools will be good, RIBAgrounds was hilarous because people really didn't expect it, but on April Fools, as soon as I log in, I'm sure I'll be looking for it. They probably will add a writing and an art portal and delete the BBS, Tom actually made a post on a thread saying that'd happen, I really can't find the link, I'll look for it later, the thread is called "enjoy the BBS while it lasts"

It's not a problem I have with you, cause I think you're pretty cool too, but in the last week or so especially there's been a lot of threads and posts that only relate to each other and the users posting them, rather than anything off the site or worth discussing. I really like this site and the people on it, and I don't want it to devolve into the same kind of self-referential atmosphere the entire BBS had. I'm probably reading too much into a few isolated events but "isn't every thread a jseed thread?" What is that?

And there's nothing wrong with injokes, what's wrong is when they dominate more of the mindset of the forum than talking about anything interesting. I don't mind J_seed, I mind him becoming a kind of joke in and of himself--a meme, if you will--with no substance, just being funny because he's there.
