this is the movie that the daft punk guys starred in and co-directed. anyone seen it? i really enjoyed it, although nearly every scene dragged on too long. it was definitely intentional and the scenery was beautiful, but it could have been shortened down a little and had the same effect. there's no talking or expression of emotion besides the characters motions, but i thought that made it more powerful.

sometime this year i'm gonna do a featurette on a movie every couple of weeks and this is going to be one of them. i would recommend it, especially if you're a daft punk fan. here's some screencaps
