does anyone have a hero that isnt completely cliche
also i think its pretty dumb that people think people who just came in to the picture can be their heroes
obama, mccain, and sullenberger

zomfgbie

2, 5, 7 and 10 are just no

i have no idea who 9 is
i am dead

<+wwchicken> once i walked into the kitchen and there was a sound
<+wwchicken> but i could only hear it when i stood on one spot in the kitchen
<+wwchicken> then i turned off the light
<+wwchicken> and it was gone
<+wwchicken> then i turned the light back on and there it was again
<+wwchicken> so i thought, its an invisible alien
<+wwchicken> but hes scared of the dark

sullenberger is the guy who made the emergency landing of that flight that almost crashed in manhattan
i mean thats great but why would that make him your hero

zomfgbie

this just shows how uninformed and ignorant most us citizens are

barack obama - skin color
jesus - imaginary friend
bush - initiated the war (which i guess some people liked)
mccain - very recent events, dwindeling supporters
sullenberger - again recent events

>_<

Quote from: Animegamer2. Jesus Christ
Even though I'm agnostic, I find it rather bizarre Jesus lost to Obama.

Quote from: Animegamer3. Martin Luther King
Well deserved of the high ranking.

Quote from: Animegamer4. Ronald Reagan
Heh. >_>

Quote from: Animegamer5. George W. Bush
What the fuck? When he left office, he was even unpopular in Texas.  How the hell did he get on this list?

Quote from: Animegamer6. Abraham Lincoln
Lincoln is extremely overrated.

Quote from: Animegamer7. John McCain
After the rotten campaign he threw, I'm surprised he did this well. Then again, Bush got #5. That's practically a mind shattering fact.

Quote from: Animegamer8. John F. Kennedy
I question if he would be ranked this high if he was never shot.

Quote from: Animegamer9. Chesley Sullenberger
At first, I had no idea who the fuck this guy was, but now that I know he's the guy who landed that plane safely, I find it somewhat laughable he got on the top ten list. Next time they do this survey, he'll be nowhere on the list. Don't get me wrong. He's an amazing pilot that saved so many lives, but few are going to even remember this guy ten years from now.

Quote from: Animegamer10. Mother Teresa.
I know very little about her.

Edit-

QuoteIn a Harris Poll conducted in 2001, Jesus Christ was the hero mentioned most often, followed by Martin Luther King, Colin Powell, John F Kennedy and Mother Teresa.

While he was definitely not a bad president, he has been consistently praised as this country's best president and honestly, I don't think he did that great of a job.
