Scotty P is pretty good, i've been reading it for a few years now. its very cute and funny, although its not without its flaws like the sameface artstyle. But hey who am i to be talking about sameface?

I also hated dark knight returns, dunno why. Watchmen and V were pretty good tho. You might enjoy the Sin City series, they're very gritty and......Frank Miller.

Also, Asterix and Tintin. Buy these motherfuckers now. (Apart from the last few Asterix comics, because after the writer died the artist wrote them himself and they're basically jealous tirades against anime and manga).

Asterix in general is legendary. Never read Tin Tin though i did catch a glimpse of the TV show and wasn't really impressed.

To the person who said Watchmen's art is 'boring', it's supposed to represent more old-timey golden age classic comics, hence the washed out colour scheme and somewhat non-stylized character design. Its more about the concept and story than the art.
