using reference doesn't mean you redraw the whole thing
(if that's what you did, because it's basically the same thing as tracing)

it basically isn't

new one, I tried something new. It looks pretty neat irl but taking a photo added some really gay white and shiny lines cause I have to take them with the flashlight shit.

oh well, I will try to scan it later.

There.

Okay Psi, this is some real criticism so a-listen up.
Your drawings almost look like they are never ever sketched out or anything, like you sorta go with it. The wrinkles, scratches and like, cracks on the WoW thing dont really look that well done and look like you just kinda go with it as well. I'd suggest working on proportions first and then going on to like, wrinkles and stuff. I mean, you got a sense of where everything is supposed to be, but it just doesnt come out right.

I'm no pro uber artist or anything, im just tryin ta think of something ta help ya out.

Loathsome

If you'd redraw something someone drew it's still copying. It'd look like a sloppy trace. You don't have to draw over a drawing to trace it. That bull thing looks awfully much like a trace, a very sloppy one.

Make your own shit.

lmfao

well I am trying to draw other things to learn how to draw certain things like, for example, these cracks on the armor of that WoW bull thing.

Also, Dave and Jseed, I do sketch my drawings out. There are pencil strokes all over them but my scanner kind of removes them cause they're not dark enough.

Bogswallop

What I would do is start with drawing like people and not cartoon characters. Doesn't matter if they're crap. They'll turn good with practise. If you do that you'll get a basic understanding of how body structure works and it'll make drawing easier.

Will get right onto it

Alright you all know these two already, but this time I scanned them:

and

and these are new, sadly pose maniacs has a fucking lot of really weird poses, I tried to get the 2 least gay ones but they still look shitty. Hopefully I will improve with that stuff, in time.

(gay)

(not as gay but still not good ff)

the third picture is a little confusing because im not sure from what angle the body is being viewed from. part of it looks like it's being viewed from below, but other parts look like their being viewed from the side. i think the leg that's bent is a little too short. the rest of your drawings look really good tho

that's the problem, I saw the picture in 3D and didn't know what angle the body was viewed from. Looked very confusing.

pimp wade is cool. i'm not promoting drawing badly or anything but i actually like shitty-looking hands, when i get to that part of a drawing i just fuck off on it in particular though i like how it looks on the cane

his face is the best part

sQueef

you really suck at drawing people
Oh, wretched ephemeral race ... why do you compel me to tell you what it would be most expedient for you not to hear? What is best of all is utterly beyond your reach: not to be born, not to be, to be nothing. But the second best for you is—to die soon.
