most of the ones that I know of got overrun by shit commercial bands advertising their shitty shit not that that doesn\\\'t happen on the ng audio portal but at least the commercial shit is good there



also gmagnum zellomesh had an audio portal but zellomesh died because the guy who ran it fucked up so massively

Yeah, I am.  

I've been struggling for months because of a long delayed layout designer. So I've had to design the entire thing myself.

Flash Game, Flash Movie, Video, Image, Text. (coincidently same as Tom, but I thought it was because we thought alike) But done in such a way that we solved the "shithole" user voting system that tom and liljim built, and basically built up a whole new type of site.

The plan is that we're going to be learning and developing a real business plan, real investors, the real deal next year. Until then, I'll finish development, and I should hopefully be finished by February. I've been delaying this for a long long time now. But as long as you guys give support, I'm willing to speed this up.

Tom likes to brag but you know he'll fuck it up, fuck him.

they will both be shit, and because making "art" and "literature" is a whole fuckin lot easier and cheaper to do than animation or games, they'll suck all the attention off the flash portal and pretty soon NG will be your average "online entertainment" site.

a while ago tom mentioned the lit portal in some news post and i fucking shit all over that thread because i thought it was a terrible idea, and some "respected" "community members" (BBS mods and swain) told me it was for scripts/storyline pitches and would encourage collaboration. The same with the art portal-- it's supposed to be for things related to people's personal flash projects, etc. but that won't happen. The lit portal will be filled with shit and the art portal will be filled with shit... at least it's harder to get away with plagiarizing copyrighted videogame sprites when you've added literally nothing to them, not even your high-pitched 11 year old voice and fart sound effects
