Part 2 has been released too, part 3 is coming tomorrow

remember like, 4 fucking years ago when the teaser for this came out and nobody thought it would go anywhere? It's amazing. The backgrounds and general scenery are fantastic, the atmosphere is great, the score/sound would have to be my favorite part of this, I think it's what makes this animation. The only problem I have with it is that the little character animation that it has is sloppy compared to the rest of the movie and the anatomy is weird, like what the fuck is that space doing between her legs?? Kind of brings it down. Too bad.

Haha yeah i was looking at that too and was thinking to myself that's quite the gap she has, and when it's just a silhouette of her walking it looks really bad but all in all none of that really matters because HOLY SHIT Fallen Angel actually made it past a teaser finally.

I was very excited to see this on the front page this morning.

Well everything about it was dandy except the people weren't well formed. A shame because for me thats where the real crunch of animation and talent is. Not just manipulating special effects, but pure artistic skill in fluid movement. Maybe the second and third ones will be different.

And I just noticed the Episode 1 tag. A little over-ambitious?

I just watched the second one, much much better in terms of movement. Still tween heavy, but used very efficiently.

Ugh, I totally agree about the character animation. I think the trailer was far superior in how it handled character movement... went more with tweens/krinkels technique. i haven't even watched the whole thing yet though

to be honest i was a little disappointed for something that took 4 years, but part 3 has yet to be released so

fuck it really this shouldn't have taken over 4 years

i must say i am somewhat disappointed

maybe it'll get better. i did very much like some of the scenes though... some parts were extremely well done, and others were somewhat mediocre, but none of them compared to the trailer... I think extreme-flash is not connected with fallen angel anymore, and perhaps they were behind the quality of the teaser, which was really good enough to be on tha silver screen

so it goes

i think this actual episode is better than the teaser

either way i could see how this could take a very long time

the guy's probably working on it by himself, and he must have a job and a life etc etc

actually he's got a few assistants, as you'll see in the opening credits. I know for sure there was at least one other animator helping out

I visited the forums of the site for that animation today and all pretty much everyone is talking about is how hot the main character is

also several of them have criticisms but they all fail to realize the biggest flaw with the character design in the beginning which is that no one has that fucking gap between their legs

Waterlollies was better than this and that only took half as long I think

I have not ever seen a woman with such a gap between their legs, and for me if you're going to do the rest of the film right you should have the physique down just as well, especially if you're aiming for realism which is clearly what he's going for

yeah the gap exists on a lot of women and its considered sexy by a lot of guys but its not like fucking half a foot wide like this guy drew it so i agree with notorious!!

I found the story to be a bit cliché, but it has the spirit. and 4 years holy fuck, I definitely couldn't be bothered spending all that time on this. He probably couldn't be fucked fixing the tiny flaws after spending this much time on it.
