any time i spend more than a month on a movie, i'll get extremely anxious, so to prevent myself from spending all day checking if there are any new reviews, I'll force myself to get of the computer until the next day.

when i first started making flash movies, there was a general idea that a person had to put all of their effort into making a simple movie, and it still might not get passed. to see the score teeter on a borderline deletion would be the scariest thing anyone could imagine, especially when you're new to flash. since 2007, this has not been the case since it's difficult to get anything blammed. i think someone submitted the nick berg beheading without a fileswap and it passed.

newgrounds is just utter shit the only reason i have been submitting there for the last year is to get views on my animations, i don't give a shit about the community or the reviews they are all gay

especially since one time I made a shitty DBZ Hentai parody that got 300,000+ views just because people saw hentai in the name and none of my actual flashes have gotten near that many views

I was thinking about this.  Spinister got TOTW just because his title ("Make me cum", which is the name of the MSI song in it) sounded like it could contain hentai.

I love reading the reviewers who will be unsatisfied with anything, and just review TOTW for the stats.

But seriously if you care what the NG userbase thinks of your flash, you need to reevaluate your goals as an artist.  I make shit because I enjoy making flash and drawing for all parameters.  Submitting it to NG and recieving a reaction is an added bonus.
