the two factors i base movies off of are coolness and whether or not they make me feel something
if something makes me really tense or sad then its good
all the artsy stuff in the fall was really cool and i felt something for the characters
i dont automatically like artsy movies but they usually have that coolness factor that i like

I get the feeling Billy hates anything artistic because he doesn't immediately understand it or something. Every art house thing I've posted on this forum he has fiercely shot down with the stupid fucking answers of "hopelessly art house" or "pretentious" neither of which actually mean anything. I don't see what the big deal is. So what if something is focused on being a visual piece or is focusing on being figurative and abstract? That's interesting because it gives you something to think about.



I fucking adore the fall. It had some of the best imagery in a movie, ever.
