the stats app tries to merge nicks that it thinks are the same person. since you guys change your names all the time, it sometimes does it incorrectly. i try to fix it as often as i can, but there's only so much i can do

it goes based on nicks, not hostnames. and it uses the log file, so it can't check that stuff whenever it wants to anyway. i'll fix it next round, though

mircstats registers &'s and ~'s as part of a nickname and not a status, so if someone gets those next to their name it counts as another nick. i'm surprised i didn't catch that, though. it can be easily fixed
