While Sailor Moon is one of my childhood favorites and a great series. Largely referred to as a “DBZ for girls” although I know a fair share of guys who liked it, but they may not admit that in public. Anyone who watched Cartoon Network in the 90's probably at least remembers skimming through the channels and seeing it once or twice. And most people probably remember it fondly despite the edited dub with bad voice acting.

I would really like to see a company take this series, and redub it from start to finish, giving it a decent and semi-accurate dub. No amount of patching or re-editing could salvage the train wreck of an English dub, and it somewhat makes me sad that most of the kids of this generation won't get to see it. The dvd's are long since discontinued (and licenses left to expire), ebay bootlegs of the R1 dvd sets is about the only way to get it anymore.

Dragonball Z and One Piece are being redone, why not Sailor Moon? I think after all these years it deserves a proper unbroken release.

it was really popular in the mid-90's, i'm surprised that they never finished it. and yeah i've seen some sailor moon uncut and it's nothing like it was on toonami. although i didn't watch it back then , i tried w/ season one (in japanese) but it pissed me off how dumb sailor moon was. i didn't really give it much of a chance though, i only watched until episode 9
