Inuyasha is the dragonball z of adult swim, long, and drawn out storylines.

true, shorter series are good, but just that; short and not normally aired for a long time.

Great show?  Hardly.  It's one of the most drawn out animes out there.  And the reason they've kept it going for so long is only because of it's large fanbase.  Which, mind you, consists of mainly Sesshoumaru, Miroku, or Inuyasha fangirls.

lol, it just started airing here from the very beginning, late last week.  I don't mind it, personally.  Granted, there's a lot better anime out there, but at least it's far more amusing than DBZ.  Much more funnier too.

Meanwhile, Full Metal Alchemist has just started again.  Good show.

lol, it used to be that way.  I remember the days when all they showed was Gundam Wing and DBZ.

Now it's a different story.  The current lineup for the weekly adult swim is...

Bleach
God, how in hell did this become so popular?  I can't stand it.

Eureka Seven
This deserves every bit of popularity it gets.  It's fantastic, and its animation and style is richly superb.  Right up there with CB.  But that's to be expected from design artists like Shoji Kawamori.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shoji_Kawamori

Trinity Blood
Don't have much love for vampires, but once I started watching more into it, I've learnt to forgive some of the lame elements involved and started to enjoy the show for what it's worth.  It has a fun, almost politically intrigued, story and great english voice cast too.  Colleen Clinkenbeard portrays a lot of passion and emotion in her character, Esther.

Black Cat
Err... not too sure on this one yet.  Not as bad as Bleach, but still not good enough for me to enjoy it.

Full Metal Alchemist
It finished airing not long ago.  Been aired three times so far.  I've really only watched it once.  Has a great sense of human frailties and emotion involved.

And... Inuyashu
I don't care what anyone says.  I enjoy watching this.  Though Inyashu himself... I don't really care much about.  I like the support cast better.  Gotta love some of the random comedy episodes too that spring out of nowhere and don't have Inuyashu slicing and dicing his way to glory.  His moves are about as cool as an old rpg game's swordsman with a couple of specials and little else.

Naruto is also on, but I don't want to be reminded of it.

Of course... there is also the other noname anime.  I've lost count over the amount of times there have been Pokemon clones.
