Google Chrome is really nice but there's some features on Firefox I really like that I'd not go without. This browser will most likely become much superior to Firefox later on once it has more plugins and such.

i tried it too. it's lightweight and the 'crash protection' sounds great, although i haven't gotten it to crash yet so i wonder if it works or not. as far as the whole applications thing goes, i don't really care - it sounds like this browser is more geared towards the avid blogger who spends all day updating his stupid web 2.0 apps like twitter.

I used it and am not impressed.

Everyone seems to have a hard-on for the incognito mode which they think is an insta-stealth mode but all it does is delete your history and cookies which everyone probably does on a daily basis in a few seconds anyways.

Also ya, scroll pad thing on my laptop doesn't work for it.

When it was first released, Google Chrome's preliminary license agreement cited that the company had "a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute any content" entered into the browser by users. In other words, Google originally reserved the right to take nearly any type of information entered into the browser and replicate and distribute it without accrediting a user.
