I personally have always prefered the Ocean dub, but then again I tend to be in the minority (everywhere) saying that.

told you lol... you must have got them mixed up

ocean did dub the complete series, its just a matter of finding the profile of someone who recorded the rest of them off tv... 1-53 of ocean was all that was ever released on dvd but the rest of them aired on YTV canada and Toonami UK but never seen a dvd release

woah are you serious? i need to find them. i hate the new voices SO much. that sucks that they're not on DVD, why don't they just release it? I mean ocean is still around right?

Yeah, they dubbed Ranma 1/2, Inuyasha and are currently working on Bleach.

Funimation however bribed Toei Japan to give them the DBZ home video rights pulling the rug out from under Pioneer/Ocean, they picked up the series where the Ocean DVD release left off and tried to immitate there actors.

Ocean finished there DBZ dub but it was only shown on TV (they dont have home video rights).

A few years later after Ocean had been completely stripped of the licence funimation went back and redubbed seasons 1 and 2 with there crappy dub, which is now avaliable on dvd with the rest of the funimation dvds.

i used to watch that show but then it took so long for goku to move his hand i got bored. seriusly it took 2 minuts that part SUCKED

funimation except with the movies where they fucked up the dub

the ocean dub for the movies is MUCH better because the original music is still there

the music that funimation put into the movies is totally shitty and crushed my childhood memories. DO NOT get the newish uncut movie box dvds.
