Final Fantasy XIII coming to Xbox 360

Sorry, Sony. The Xbox 360 is finally going to get a blockbuster RPG. Square has announced at the Microsoft press conference that Final Fantasy XIII is going to be released on Xbox 360 the same day as PS3 in North America and Europe. What a huge coup for Microsoft, and what a great piece of news for Xbox 360 owners who also happen to be great console RPG lovers.

PS3 was always going nowhere in the grand scheme. It's sad too, because I used to like Sony, but man of the games on that console have been fun so far.

final Fantasy was going to make me get a PS3 but now there's no point. There's nothing out for it I want, even though they're releasing a few games soon I might like.

Not to mention 360 getting exclusivity on a bunch of other big games like (I think) RE5 and tales of vesperia.

The playstation isn't going down though, it's just "losing" the console race but there will be a PS4 that'll learn from this console cycles mistakes no doubt.

Hopefully they don't ride on their false prospect that their system is so awesome that it'll be still going even in the next console cycle.

I've seen the phrase "Nail in Sony's coffin" so many times that I've seen people expecting the PS3 to fail by 2006 and for Sony to have gone bankrupt last year.  It's all really retarded.  Pretty much all console talk is.

By the way, after MGS4 was released Sony made $1.7 billion in the month of June alone.


Also, even though FF13 is going to the Xbox 360, they never said anything about FF Vs. 13 or whatever.
Either way I'm not really interested in either.

then again i don't own either console
anyway the only was the ps3 will die is if sony lets it. they're a multi-billion dollar corporation that can afford to let a console that doesn't make any money stay afloat as long as they want. kind of like what microsoft has been doing with the 360. i mean imagine if nintendo released a console that had a 90% chance of overheating or destroying your game if you nudged it by accident. they'd be bankrupt by now
