I did a lineart tonight

I'm doing another comic (because, you know, I enjoy that).
Anyway, on the left is the rough sketch I did for the comic.  Usually, for my comics, I'll just settle for doing all the lines in a single stroke and going with the wobbly lines caused by my very unsteady hand.
But this time, I decided I'd give cleaning the lines up a try.  I have to clean up a couple spots here and there, and (possibly) add color, but other than that, this panel is pretty much finished.
I'd love for some critique.

I like it. I like it a lot. His little side burn in the NEW one shouldn't be shaded that way with all of the other shading style. And his hair seems to be missing a piece.

I see what you mean and I definitely agree.  I'll fix that

That's mostly just how I draw my hair.  I like the way it looks but it does tend to be a bitch to color.

Maybe because they don't give much contrast to the blank white. The lineart still looks good though

Maybe it's because it looks more like a comic you would see in a newspaper than you would on the internet?

As for the dots, I'm still trying to figure out how to make them really good.  I like the way they look, but I need to work on not using them too much, because otherwise the screen looks very crowded all of a sudden.
Today I got rid of a lot of areas where the dots are in and it's a lot easier to focus on teh picture now.

I did reduce the amount of dots in the first picture quite a bit since I posted that this morning.  Do you think it looks any better?

I put the dots in too many things that really shouldn't have needed and they looked to sketchy in my opinion

I actually would've made the pattern for the dots more clustered when I first made it if I could, but when I put them any close it'd become just a great sheet.  I don't know if I should've positioned the dots differently but this is the closest I could get the dots together to make them still dots.
I still need to look into it.
