ok well dress shirts are generally made of like cotton or like some sort of blend of polyester and cotton and are generally one solid color (or with stripes of some sort). also pretty much all of them have a chest pocket on side of the chest. these are generally worn like for work and stuff like that (the gay shirts you see at hollister and american eagle are not dress shirts)

disco shirts are different because they arent supposed to be dressy at all. they\\\'re generally made of 100% nylon or 100% polyester because that makes them stretchy so that can be tight and stuff. they almost always have busy patterns and weird abstract designs or some thing and it usually covers the entire shirt. also they have abnormally big collars so that you fold the collar over the collar of a leisure suit. these shirts were more of a fashion statement of the 1970\\\'s and were worn to parties/discos!!!
