I agree.  There is a lot of crap out there, but you can find some good anthro if you look for it.

there is a lot of good anime right now, Saiyuki reload gunlock, Desert punk, so on and so forth, but one of my favorets is .Elfen Lied, not many people like it, but i think it's really well done.

ya, e;fen lied is my favorite right now, but Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is a really close second. it doesn't get more interesting than a school that has, an alien, an esper, a time traveler, and god enrolled in it.

That's an awesome show as well. The animation is so create in that show, that I almost watched the entire first season in one day during this past's summer

but theres only 13 episodes in the series (14 if you count the "movie" episode), and as far as i know, only one season

ya i really like that series. i like anime, basically because, it's the closest thing to a book that's turned into a movie, people acting is neat'o, and sometimes can't be replaced, but when your drawing your character, everything ends up looking like it should. and anime is the only story where, anything goes, at all. and usually doesn't end up looking stupid (from a purely story line based view). for instance, yuri: guy becomes a girl, and has to deal with it, or girl -> guy whatever, in anime it's pulled off well in many cases, but think about what that story might end up like if it were done with real actors. ya, it would be pretty weird, and it would probably end up as some art house "love triangle", and it's all in French, so anime is the only way to pull off some things, and the best way to pull off others.

and uh tay-tay, before you call me gay, because theres a pretty good chance of that. *generic predetermined comeback*, so ya, take that bitch.

aw man, the only anime i've been exposed to is flcl, and there was only, like, 6 episodes of that....
