so i saw this link in my profile about 'deviantart version 6' so i clicked on it and now i'm in some kind of beta mode. it's supposed to be a "super secret" but i'm showing it anyway because it's not that secret. the only thing changed is the front page and the surrounding panels. clicking on your name reveals a nice drop-down menu with options that your userpage has and i guess the biggest change is that it just looks nice. still that olive green color though.

To be honest, I'd rather have the drop down menu on the top rather than the side.
If its on the side its harder for some people to navigate because of that long narrow mouse movement over to the new menu when you hover.

I like the olive green, but the layout looks abrasive to me.

Hopefully, in the new layout, they fix that bug that makes Deviantart suck.

Eh, I still don't see the point of them having Collections up there. And what's this about Channels?

Anyways, the layout seems more.. professional-like, I suppose. I still don't like it ever since they changed it though.

channels is just their new word for categories. nothing exciting or special. in fact there are 0 new features, everything is just moved around.
