While I am not quite badass enough to hate all internet communities inherently, I am inclined to concur with your analysis Mr. Pakdel. Facebook; MySpace, any and all variations thereof, are utter shit, for lack of a better term.

In fact the only reason I have a MySpace that I check maybe once every 2 months is so that my Mother can feel happy by being a "savvy internet user" and leaving me sparkly glitter shit comments.

Not to mention, you can't customize your page with layouts or anything, though most of the time it'll be very laggy like on myspace. From what I saw, facebook has a lot of unnecessary stupid applications and quizes which fill up the whole page.

And no, I don't use myspace or facebook. But from what I've seen, both have it's advantages and disadvantages.
