I disagree, saying that everything is art is like saying that everything is nice, because not everyone agrees wether something is nice or not.
Art is an opiniated word. I think this is art, someone else thinks that is art.
If someone says "this is a piece of art" it is a compliment, therefor it's an opinion.

duchamp didnt just do ready mades. i kinda like his masterpiece, since he actually put work into it


he worked on it for years painting on that big ass glass. he was never quite satisfied with it. then when he moved his studio, the movers who were carrying the glass dropped it and it shattered. they thought duchamp would kill them but when he saw it he said "fantastic! its finished!"
