How's that anime. I was suggesting f0d to call his new series Serial Experiments, when I googled it some anime came up. What's it about and is it worth watching?

I'll just sum it up in one sentence:

"It's about a girl who got addicted to the computer and later become a god."

It's quite ahead of it's time when I saw it and I thought it was pretty cool in a way. So yeah I think it's worth watching.

Serial Experiments Lain

I'm sure many of you watched it already.

OMG i forgot to add Lain? that show inspired me so much

basically it's about a 'girl' who becomes involved with The Wired, the cartoon's version of the internet, and then really confusing things start to happen. Lain, the main character gets an identity conflict the more she is engrossed within The Wired. Then it turns out it's because she plays a bigger role within the net than she first figured. there is also a conflict with the net "blending in" with the world, apparently.

it takes quite a while to build up, i yawned a lot throughout watching it. but the character of Lain and her environment is what really intrigued me, and how they change. also the dialogue is pretty...uh, technical and confusing at times

Yeah, it's not some generic shonen anime that involves some crazy power up at the most convenient time and duking it out with some lame plot.

ok I watched the first 3 episodes and holy fuck it's already my favorite anime (I haven't seen a lot though!)

I love psycho-thrillers a lot, they're the best kind of genre there is, really. This anime is perfect in every way (the art and animation is ok but who cares).

wow.. this topic does move fast... and u people are awesomely crazy! lol o and megaupload sucks, the downloads are terrilbe, and its much better to download of other sites or use video sites like youtube... well in my opnion, vids on there take up to much room.. =P
