Dailytoon 400 is gonna be finished this weekend

And its only about 4 months late! Might be a good thing though since now it will be seen as just another flash rather than DailyDay "spam".

Anyway Im gonna work on part 13 all day today and tomorrow till I finish it. Then ship it off to F0d who will make a wonderful Menu for it! I hope its really good!

the experimental thing will basically be an SS series, we are just abandoning SS labels. and of course thebackalleys members and select NG members will be allowed to contribute as well. it should be fun we might actually gain a following of some sort if things work out!

ill make a thread about it here once ive come up with the series name

but trust me WAC ive been trying my best to improve the SS's reputation for a good year and a half. but its like fighting a losing battle. no point whatsoever. the kitty krew has made it so simply being an NG crew is grounds for the stat whores to vote 2 on everything you make without watching it

besides the SS is too exclusive we scare away all the talented artists who might be turned off by our reputation. it will be much nicer to have a series that isnt advertised as anything except a series

i think the real SS handicap was the whole 7star "incident". That and everyone thinks theyre spam for some reason.

I enjoy alot of the SS stuff, but I remember for the long time the SS were like NG terrorists to me. It seemed like they wanted to tear down and destroy the site.

what actually happened was durin th 50+ page "SS busted" thread on the BBS a few years back, seven posted a link saying "free hentai here!" which actually linked to a site called minigirls.biz. none of us including 7 had ever actually visited the site, we just knew it was like an FBI sting operation for catching pedophiles. cr0m linked to it on the SS boards a couple of times as a shock site and we all had a nic laugh about it.

next thing you know, faggot mods like newgrundling and ozcar who got tricked into clicking it were calling for seven to be deleted because he was a menacing and disgusting pedophile. keep in mind 7star was fucking 16 yrs old at the time ahahaha

so we made the sevenstar is a pedophile series as a joke, and everyone thought we were serious

for awhile thats what we wanted people to think. it was a blast pissing off such a large amount of people.

then knockoffs of the SS came along, like the glock group and kitty krew, and we realized what a horrible mistake we had made

also the SS virus and abusing NG book were both made by goldencat. all by himself. he made it seem like the entire SS had contributed when really hardly any of us supported him. goldencat was an ok guy but MAN what he did with that book and virus was absolutely pathetic

i kind of like not being in the ss better than being in the ss because now i dont feel like im attached to a bunch of people

well I had a swell talk with chrome last night about SS/KK/NG/where we all fit into it/etc.

It seems that the Star Syndicate had a lot of fun, going through their collections I can't help but laugh at a lot of their movies and be sad by the fact that a lot of really great stuff they made was unrecognized and such due to it being made by the SS. Seems unfair, however, that's what happens when you are a Newgrounds Crew I suppose.

And to f0d, please don't mistake my intentions. I never wanted to be "the next goldencat" I read AAEN and found it to be funny and interesting, also he could've done more stuff if he had devoted himself to better coding languages. However personally, I'm a horrible coder and I would never try to "destroy NG", though I did want to have a portal flood. Portal Flood's (like the SSBB Camel one the CC had today) just seem fun to me.

However the Kitty Krew has become a giant whirling shit-storm of faggotry, or perhaps it always has been and I only recently caught onto that fact, but the point is I left them due to the utter... Lack of caring. Not that that really has anything to do with anything other than, the KK is basically ... well sadly an SS ripoff!

But I think it's funny that the majority of KK members are about 4-5 years younger than the majority of SS members, and KK does jokes the SS did... whats this? About 4 to 5 years ago.

It's just ironic. to me. This post is very long and boring.

I just want to become a good artist/animator. And that's hard to do... So I get down sometimes.
Ahh well. I tend to like the SS more, due to them at least caring about what they put on the portal. I mean the KK just spews out whatever they can muster and they let in seriously some of the worst members. I joined them so I could learn flash, and after I got what I would consider "Intermediate" level at flash I started growing sick of their shit. Aughh I wish I could condense this post.

In the end I like thebackalleys, it's not filled with asshole faggots who suck at art, and it's got a nice mix of "spam crew humor" and "serious artistic development" or something like that.

I hope Part 2 is finished sometime soon and I hope it turns out for the best.
