Tom loves these types of people, they generate content which generates more hits for his site. Honestly that's what it boils down to.

Krinkels himself is probably a decent guy, not very creative, your typical American who likes violence, he just happened to attract thousands of other people with a similar mindset.

It's not a shame really it's just another cycle of newgrounds, it too shall pass and in a decade any current madness fans who somehow manage to stick around for that long will have their nostalgia, and some other person will come along and generate more mindless violence for them to shed a tear at and remember their "glory days".

We can only hope by then that poser-"h4x0r" groups like 4chan don't plague every "newfags" (for lack of a better term) vocabulary with this channity.
Oh, wretched ephemeral race ... why do you compel me to tell you what it would be most expedient for you not to hear? What is best of all is utterly beyond your reach: not to be born, not to be, to be nothing. But the second best for you is—to die soon.

How is it good then? I can't see how it's good. It's mainly badly tweened characters.
Bunny Kill however might be a "madness" version that's not completely shit considering for the characters.

lmao, madness isn't tweened and it's not badly made either. Have you watched that episode with the burning clown? The fire might didn't look too good but dam it was smoothly animated. The whole series is very smoothly animated.

Most madness flashes are and a majority of all madness flashes are pretty cheap.

Yeah but you can't really blame Krinkels for his asshat legions of fans degrading his okay series into basically over-fluffed Sprite Movies now can you? and perhaps Krinkels does use tweening on some parts of his series, but why mock tweening? It's an essential part of Flash and an artist should be allowed to use all the tools at his disposal anyway, a viewpoint shared by me, Luis, and i'm sure plenty of other people. But please don't take what I am saying as anything bad against you Loathsome, im just stating my thoughts.

Not that I think Madness is great or anything, but Krinkel's madness is better than Alvin-Earthworm's Super Mario Bros. Z any day of the week at least....

he has a shit fanbase. so do alot of people.
yourself and rtil included

thats just the nature of newgrounds i guess. especially lately. the "stupid" audience has driven out the "quality" audience like pilgrims on a witch hunt. now, whether you like it or not, a bunch of morons are gonna be the primary demographic for your work. thats why its more important than ever to broaden your horizons beyond just NG.

Isnt NG the #1 flash site? So its more or less going to be seen by the most people. Although it doesnt always.

Um since when has the most popular thing been the best?

right

theyre a little harder to find but there are some other very nice "portals" out there on the web, and sites with better audiences than NG.

like for instance, it seems like video sites have a lot of potential for flash animators. break.com tends to attract a broader non-nerd audience. atomfilms seems like a legit place for up and coming filmmakers to share their work and get paid for it. youtube is so huge that most of the best stuff gets ignored, but if you can find the right youtube audience you can become very succesful there. other youtube knockoffs like metacafe seem to have better quality control, and pay their users for good stuff. as for flash portals, there aren't many good ones to choose from besides NG. however, i would guess that albinoblacksheep, flashportal.com, and ebaums would all give you slightly more exposure to a general audience than NG would. and of course, DA and SA both give you potential exposure from fellow artists even if they are flawed sites as a whole.

no matter how much you hate any of those sites i mentioned, they are pretty damn good alternatives to the shitfest that is NG right now

If you're serious about gaining exposure and advancing your career as an animator why would you be wasting a lot of time on the internet...

I would be trying to get jobs/internships at major studios irl, and whenever I produced another good movie, I would just go around and submit it to every one of those sites you mentioned f0d.

But maybe i'm just olD FASHIONED holy shit im gay.

Hammi

Your stuffs could end up being stolen at YouTube, with massive uploads by different authors. And not even being credited for the work. And Ebaums... exposure is one thing, but who wants to share submissions with a site that is known for stealing contents off other sites? (Answer: the easy entertained simple minded preys they call their audience) For me that would be like begging to get your ass marked for future ripoffs. I disgust this site. I dunno about the other sites though, i guess the rest is okay.

Flashportal has never interested me anyway.
<GreatRapperLenkazuka> lmao
<GreatRapperLenkazuka> hammi you are my top paki

I waste my time with it because im stubborn and bitter, and perhaps more stubborn because I'm bitter, so I decide to submit 2 movies a day, everyday, because i'm vying for a spot on that "Biggest Submitters" list.

but then again im 16 and have the free time to do stupid shit like this

As a college level animator I really see no need to take NG seriously, just use it to garner more attention whenever you happen to finish something that's really swell. Because it doesn't hurt to get over 1 million views honestly...

:edit:

damn those madness fanboys!!!
