well yeah its cool and original and that youtube vid was pretty sweet
I just think itd be a pain in the fuckn ass to animate on that shit which you could probably attest to

oh i thought you meant the end result is gay

yes animating on an etchasketch is very gay but not quite as gay as traditional pencil and paper shit, where you time everything out, draw it roughly, animate that, redraw every single frame in ink on cels, color every single cel, animate again

well yeah animating in general is tedious as hell, you pour hours of work into what ends up being a few seconds long.

But its fun and when you are finally done its really nice.

theres nothin like the payoff imo thats what makes it such a great job, no matter how much work it takes

this one can't possibly be delayed, i only have about 1-2 seconds left to animate and about 10 seconds to timelapse which i can do in one sitting. i'm doing it all tomorrow. then the thing will show at the animation showcase on june 7th and i will be free to do whatever i want with it

my teachers recommend i send it to film fests before i post it online. im still not sure what website i should post it on first...

my god 4 months of my life down the drain but it was worth it
