Scientology - good or bad?

February the 10th, we had demonstrations worldwide regarding scientology, where so called "anonymous" people met up at local churches to protest against their acts. Not to disrespect anyones beliefs, but scientology is something that controversial that it could slip out of control if theyre gonna keep teaching people about their alien leader. We've already had the Lisa McPherson incident at their hands. And theyve also tried numerous of times to put a stop to criticism that have taken place at the internet. They wont allow sites that go against their teachings to exist. I have no actual opinion on all this myself, but if theyre gonna treat other people the same way they did to McPherson, then theres no way i can show any sympathy to them. I wont even make fun of them cause this is what they believe in so ill let them do what they want to. But personally, i have great doubts about them.

I apologize if any of these are offending to scientologists out there. I thought we needed to get to the bottom of this issue. Hell, none of us are perfect but still: good or bad? Reasons?

Guy Fawkes was a revolutionist. And after V for Vendetta also become an internet meme. So he kinda served a duel purpose threwout the protest.

Also, most of the posts in these forums are of the same level of retardation as /b/, so i dont know what the big deal is.

Actually i got a suprise when i joined this forum as to how similar it is, Rtil comes accross as being a smart guy that thinks everything out well and hates shit like 4chan, and knows what hes talking about when it comes to animation. I joined here thinking the forum would be much of the same, instead i found you guys, all thats missing is the "tits or gtfo's". But yeh, it confuses me greatly when i try to work rtils logic out in this particular case.

the only people that make dumb posts like that are the people (like you) that actually go to 4chan
