He contacted me, oh I guess two years ago now, when I was known more off NewGrounds as a writer than anything else, and asked me if I wanted to write a feature film with him. It was a great pitch he gave me, and he just needed me to take his plot outline and turn it into a 90 minutes script. Easy beans really.

So I said sure, and he asked me to do a couple little 2 minute short scripts for him to show I could nail his characters and stuff, and he really loved them and asked me if I wanted to be his official writer from then on, and I said sure.

A couple weeks later he's doing his The Liar series and he asks me to write more in-depth scripts based off the legend. I did one for part 2 and part 3. He flat out rejected part 2 saying that it was too rooted in fantasy, and I guess it was, but he said he liked the way I wrapped up the third part. He releases the cartoon, and the third part, though different in a few ways from my script (he cut out weird shit like the guy's eyes changing colour when he gets excited, which makes sense to me, it was weird) but in the end it was my work, and he didn't credit me.

So I e-mailed him and was like "Hey man, why'd you snub me on credit for liar 3?" And he replied back saying "Look, ANYONE could have come up with those ideas man. They were all mine!" And so I said "Fair enough. You could probably come up with your own ideas for Vyron yourself then? Seeing as how anyone can come up with my ideas."

Then this past December I got a newsletter from his site saying to check out new Vyron stuff, and a bunch of my ideas we had discussed were in there, and he e-mailed me a little after that asking me to join his writing staff, acting like we'd never spoken before.


I wasn't impressed.

I started one, but it was boring and lacked anything that I found made it creatively worthwhile.
