Ditto to Scotsman, though I'm also into heavier music than he is. Though my tastes varry depending on my mood. I'll also listen to Sigur Ros and gregorian chants when I want something calming.

I've been into weird-ish rock music lately, but for me, it's easier to say what I don't like than what I do like. And I don't like mainstream rap/hip hop, pop, and country. Most everything else I like.

Soundtracks.  You can't put a definite type on it anyhoo.  From Sin City to PotC2.  Gundam 08th to Star Wars.  I guess they're mostly in the orchestrated range.

I like old rap (such as CypressHill) and Industrial Rock(Mindless Self Indulgence). I also like SOAD (the old songs) and the RHCP.

I listen to any kind of music. I have 10256 songs in itunes(26.6 days of music... 41.07 GBs)and yes there is a lot of ""classical"" music in there.

That's almost twice the size of my library. I'm nearing 5500 songs. I used to have more but I remove a lot of music I don't listen to.

Dvořák is also quite good. And Percy Grainger is my favorite composer to play. And if you're one for heavy metal and classical, give Apocalyptica a listen. They essentially play heavy metal on cellos. They're classically trained musicians from Finland. It is quite good. Several of my friends, who don't like metal, enjoy the band.
