voice actors

ok im starting my first series. this is sommet ive wanted to do for a while... BUT NEVER HAD. i always give up/dont plan enough, cant find voice actors, ect. but, i have a script written out for an episode, concept art being worked on, characters designs, settings ect, also the music is also finished.

the reason im doing the music is cause itll be minimal anyway, also i want this to feel like something ive created completely myself. well, apart from VAing.

so if anyone knows any descent Voice acting communities/sites with people who work on flash projects, plz direct me there.

also, please dont link me to the newgrounds voice acting forum thing. totally useless.

If you need a female voice actor, I suggest Princess Aurora (even though her mic seems to be pretty bad) or Kagome from Newgrounds. She has an annoying voice but she's a good voiceactor.

if you're still in school, and there's a drama club, check there.

listen to some of the people as they rehearse. you can often find folks with fantastic voice acting as opposed to people who can only just act without putting it in their voice.

if you need a guy 13 to mid 20s i can audition for you. im one of those guys zekey is thinking of, the drama club guys i mean. i dno how good i am. i like to think im good at least.

please, whatever you do. DONT use Tomamoto or Kagome. Their voices drive me bonkers and I won't even be able to watch your cartoon, which would be sad.

I have a decent mic, I'm 15 though so i wouldn't be able to do to much of a manly role if you were interested. If you want to send something over I could at least audition

Voice acting is an assload of fun, but alot of directors have very strict visions and you better be versatile and able to adapt to that vision. Some guys are great and loose and let you develop how you feel the charcater should be, but some take charge and know what they want. Rtil tells me that's why he does his voices all himself, because he expect very specific things, and most people can't deliver. For Violet he said he had to get her to do it some massive number of times because he wanted it just so.

I can do a lot of voices but my prices aren't cheap and you should probably use the hotline (1 800 I AM HOPELESS) I can do pretty much whatever you want but be warned they say I can be a real stickler.

id say that armon would be a really bad voice actor unless every voice in the cartoon was his voice or he was playing himself

this is because i dont think there is anybody that sounds remotely like him
