I don't think so. As long as you're studying animation, you should be good.

What's the worst that could happen by applying? You'll just lose the money on postage, which isn't terribly bad

I don't see how Hanna and Barbera are running on a low budget as 10,000 dollars in division... I mean think about how many shows you see with the logos... I don't say its much but i mean it makes the cut. Im still wondering why they don't make new shows or movies (excluding numberless scooby-doo movies) i bet they have great animators but can't come up with new ideas.
