it looks like you draw seperate elements than a whole picture

a good example in this case would be the mouth; since the lines aare thinner, it doesnt fit in at all

also, if you are going to soften the colors on the outline then you should do this everywhere and not 'forget' a segment

I have that same problem with all of my pictures and I have no idea how I can get over that. It's really gay. I learned to draw like that because I used to be a fuckin tweener

?

ps. thanks for the criticism though.

Well for line thickness, just make sure you zoom at the same percent every time, and the lines should be fine. If your tabletting, amke sure you use the same amount of pressure.

I'm not sure what Sin meant about softening the lines, but i like the glowy bit in the background of it.

Your colouring's pretty good too, but your lines are wobbly and stuff. It looks like your hand isn't very steady.

I drew the mouth with the third brush size on 350% at first (same thickness I drew the rest in) but it looked really gay. Gayer than that.

Damn. Try doing most of your lineart without zooming in. This isn't a great practice, but it'll get you in the habit of noticing subtle changes in line thickness. Then you can graduate to zooming, and your muscle memory or what have you will be accustomed to drawing in a way that keeps lines consistent.

I'm not sure how well that will actually work, but it plays out well in my head.
