Hello again, TBA. I bring to you another thread to share things. music, videogame music. this thread is a sequel of my previous similar thread Videogame OSTs that are simply beautiful only this time with a less specific type and board more games.

So yeah, let's bring more Videogame OSTs! Starting with System Shock 2 since I'm on the ImmSim mood lately. you might not expect hype electronic music in a horror setting, but damn! this are good songs! of course there are some creepy and ambient tracks, but it's hard to forget MedSci 1.

if I could share some ost of my own,

Some ost I personally like are from forsaken(a Roblox asym inspired by dead by daylight) most of the ost is simply peak, in my opinion at least. These are mostly the chase themes for the diffrent killers

A theme for the John doe skin "living legend"

this originally belonged to another John doe skin called rochas before permission was pulled, but it's one of the best themes in my opinion

Guest 666 chase theme(default)

a special last man standing theme between sixer and noob who were best friends before the events of forsaken

another special lms between two people(specifically 1x1 and shedletsky)

So, yea. There's a lot of them. These are just my personal favorites

system shock is a series i've been meaning to play for a very, very long time now. by now it's been remade, but i want to experience the original still. i did that with deus ex and i'm glad i did - which also has a great soundtrack, although i think it's far from the best thing about the game.

i've seen the things people can make in roblox and it's hard to believe

that being said, i've only tried it once for a sonic thing and it was glitching out and not really working, so i quit. lol

It kinda feels like a forbidden pleasure to be a forsaken/roblox fan due to the shit BOTH of them have been in, so it's best to just stay out of all that shit if you already arent.

The first System Shock is a good start for Immersive Sims, the Enhanced Edition is not a bad option although the controls, player physics, and the difficulty and some very rough decisions might drove you off but the level design, world interaction and player agency is worthy and you'll get to know the tropes and quirks of this genre. I can't give you an opinion of the remake since I'm still playing it.

Deus Ex is another great one and glad you played it. the soundtrack is the best MOD music you can find two of them being from Unreal (Alexander Brandon and Michiel van den Bos). beyond the Engine, I saw Deus Ex as the perfect mash between System Shock and Unreal. something that we will never gonna get again.

i hate that unreal died the second fortnite became popular. at least they let fans do cool shit with it without going after them

And they didn't even released the source code of the previous entries/versions of Unreal Engine. that could made the delisting suck less.
