Games you've played but never beat

That probably applies to a good chunk of games I've played, I either play nothing but that game for weeks on end or I play it once or twice and never touch it again.

One game I actually do want to beat eventually is Metal Gear Rising though, I got decently far in that game and just stopped playing it for some reason. Very fun game, killer soundtrack too.

Also I never ended up beating Jet Set Radio, I've been meaning to get back to that game for a while but I never remember to.

I've restarted dark souls like 6 times I get to the exact same place before an overwhelming sense of boredom causes me to stop playing.

when I try again it's like 5 weeks later and I've forgotten where I am and what I was doing. rinse and repeat. will never finish.

I have the same thing soup does but with fallout NV, everytime I get to new vegas and meet mr. house I just kinda fuck off and never pick it back up
It's a crime because it's allegedly one of the best games in the entire series

I've gotten the same thing with every Fallout game I own actually, it happened with 3 and NV. I just can't play Fallout for long.

For me its been with open world games that the sandbox/free roam is TONS more fun than the story missions. Examples like Far Cry 4 i kept fucking around with the next unicopter i find, saints row 4 because you can unlock all the super powers 1 momment into the open world and ignore the story or drivibg cars or helicopters. Also fallout 4 because an update messed up the mods i had installed and i became 300lbs over carry weight in the institute.

Completely forgot the biggest one. I still got 1750 levels to complete on Overwatch and only owning about 20-30 things for each hero.

mgs5 was fun but i felt no drive to pick it back up after hitting "act 2", almost all of the story missions are shit

The most recent ones were Persona 4 which I got about half way through and FFVII which I barely got through the beginning.

this might not be TOO hard to believe if you know i didn't grow up with an n64 but i have never even played sm64. the only n64 games i played were multiplayer like goldeneye and mario kart

I have started fallout: new vegas no less than 5 times and the furthest I have gotten without cheating or fucking around is the first encounter with house

nier:automata may also count because I fucked off over halfway into the 9s campaign because it's literally the first and third arc but with 9s (yes I know it needs to be played 5-6 times but damn that'd be a lot of work)
