i can't believe someone made a website just to whine about his weeb game having a lazy google translate patchjob. but he does touch on some good points that transcend the game itself and bad translations in general.

also yakisoba pan
Well according to mombot and other faggots he's apparently in collusion with Treehouse and works in localization himself so he served to gain from making this site. God even if it's not true it's all so retarded I feel stupid just thinking about it. Neither side is willing to admit that either FE:fates bowdlerization or P5 translation respectively are straight garbage, even though the former was bad enough for me to never consider giving Treehouse my money ever again. I will at the very least play P5 eventually.

Someone I was talking to on twitter who defended P5's translation is also part of the team responsible for this:

Why do so few native English speakers care about their mother's tongue.

Why must we choose between hamburgers and yakisoba pan.

The game is great, probably the best in the series so far. Yes, there are a lot of weird grammar/spelling errors but the localization is fine. I think a lot of it is nitpicking, especially when it comes to stock translations. And I saw a lot contradictory complaints - either the localization didn't go far enough, leaving some things too Japanese (like certain in-class questions) or it went too far, like making Futaba say stuff like "Kek" (which was hilarious imo.)  And the part about her saying stuff like "Me Near, okay?" was supposed to reflect her awkward, anti-social personality. I don't think it was perfect but it didn't stop me from enjoying the game.

That's a balanced perspective. Always preferable to see translations butchered this way than how Treehouse did things with FE: if.
