I'll be looking forward to seeing if somebody might post any somewhat decent ads from more recent years. The newer ones seem to just spoil the entire plot and all of the jokes to the degree that you hardly have to watch the film after watching the preview. Or maybe it's just more to do with not understanding or appreciating good ones when I was younger.

I feel like all the best trailers I've seen in the past ten years are for games. At least there are some editors in that industry who still try new things or take some risks. It's so rare to see that in film.

I was unsurprisingly late to adopting DVD (like 2007 or something) but I remember a lot of good VHS anime trailers/PVs.

This one sticks out as the first thing that made we want to see all the anime.

Season 2 of Stranger things trailer. The whole show itself is really good

i would like to see some self-contained stories instead of a season-long one, only because i think the biggest problem with the first is that it couldn't deliver a solid ending after a lot of buildup. the journey there was really good, i just didn't care for the finale very much.
