underemployment is indeed a problem but getting a base degree such as english is just shooting yourself in the foot, especially with all the new stem and IT field positions that are experiencing massive job growth and demand for new workers

What people don't understand about free speech protections is that, yeah, they don't give you the right to falsely shout fire in a crowded theater to insight panic.

They do, however, protect your right to create art and fiction about someone who does.

shit. around here, our districts have been trying to go beyond stem and push steam. it won't be what most liberal arts types have in mind, but the end goal is still offering more education jobs to those who have some form of background in the arts.
