the TBA TF2 server has risen from its grave. and this time, it's a server we can truly call ours. this dedicated server is running on a gigabit connection from my very own pc, which no more server rental/slot/stat fees. anything we want to install onto the server we can do for no cost. I also leave my computer on pretty much 24/7 so downtime will rarely be an issue.







SERVER STATS & PLAYER RANKS

chat commands:
"rank" to display your rank to the server.
"top10" to view the top 10 ranked players.
"players" to view a list of ingame players.
"webrank" to get your webrank
"webtop" to get the webtop
"session" to get information about your session
"hidepoints" to hide the points you get
"unhidepoints" to show the points you get

OTHER COMMANDS
!nominate: nominate a map for the next mapvote
!rtv: rock the vote - start a vote to petition for an immediate mapvote. the map will change after a successful vote
!rtd: roll the dice - take your chances at scoring a temporary random buff or a random debuff
!tp: enter third person mode
!fp: exit third person mode
!bp: check the price of your backpack
!pc item name: price check an item from backpack.tf
!jb: access the jukebox

if the server is full, pubs will be kicked from the server in favor of people with reserved slots. reserved slots also grant you a 10% higher chance than pubs to receive a good !rtd effect

I also played one that was pyro volleyball, it looked sorta like this https://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Dodgeball but with only one rocket at a time- can't find the other but same principle, rocket comes at you and you blast it back with your after burner until no one is left.

Disclaimer: I've only played this and don't have a clue how to install it. BUT IT'S MEGA FUN.

pyrolight is the first thing i added. not only will pyro flames be illuminated, but so will fire-based projectiles like flare guns and fire arrows. it looks pretty fucking cool in the dark. i recorded a bit of it on koth_harvest where the map can get pretty dark:
