I am lucky to get more than 2 likes on any of my art on Tumblr, but this video I spent 10 minutes as an experiment in Tumblr's retardation did better then anything else I have ever posted on the site. Something I knew would happen.

that was beautiful, I felt like it could've been sublime had you badly put shrek's face onto the giant dude's face though

Why? I'm all for PS2 graphical aesthetics making a comeback in the independent market but they could at least emulate, you know, like, the pretty ones instead of Rockstar's Bully or whatever.

I love Steven Universe. It's silly, it's cool, it's mysterious and it's diverse and different but it's not preachy or in your face about it at all. I really like that.

well the community certainly is. for the last three days i've seen nothing but gem OC shipping that garnet song and fanart of pearl crying

also what soup said, i've seen so much art that gets categorized as something else and when the artist tries to rectify it its too late

I don't think it would have counted as an experiment if I went to that much effort, but your right, that'd actually be pretty great.

I thought it was super preachy and in your face. I have only seen a few episodes but its about as subtle with its messages as a train to the face. I do love the backgrounds in it tho, they is beautiful.

steven universe is good for what it is and who it caters to. it is a kinda preachy, tumblr-centric "muh feels" kind of cartoon that started out silly and then turned in to fanfiction. but some people like that, and it has a marketable audience. can't really blame CN for picking something like that up after the success of Adventure Time, which has devolved so far into the realms of spoonfeeding the shippers they might as well let them write the episodes.
