I don't really mind those smileys. But I guess it doesn't really have any meaning more than it's supposed to be cute and innocent or something. Some of my friends uses it so I'm quite used to seeing those.
Seriously though, it's a damn smiley, big deal.

Edit: Actually, never mind. Some smileys I can't stand either such as; >w< o3O ^3^ .
Or worse! Those mega modded ones: (>o3o)>... Some of my manlyness died there.

yeah but when you see people using that smiley over and over again it's getting annoying. It also doesn't look cute it's about as annoying as ^^, it's actually even more annoying.

I see what you mean.
Yet, I got to admit I use them my self some times. Although I'm not over doing it.
Worst (also overused) smiley is that one though, but it's even worse when it is like: ^__^. lol.
