Does anyone here know a good source of steady stock-footage videos of destroyed buildings, desolated areas and regular fields/meadows and streets with no people in them?

edit: I found some but jesus christ, the non-free ones costs about 140€ for about 6 seconds on istock.

stock footage (even images) always tend to cost a lot, and at least in my experience, I have never found a failsafe website that has tons of good ones for free. While you seen to have found some anyways, anyone searching is best off just googling around instead of trying specific websites.

...And of course if you're not bound by copyright, just rip from youtube

nah, I'm not bound to copyright law, it's just for a silly flash project.

I tried youtube, the problem is that almost every video there is shakey. I want to use the video footage as backgrounds in an animation, so they have to be steady-shot :/. A friend of mine recommended me a great website, where I can basically just rip some good stuff.. it's videos from Detroit, so basically exactly what I was looking for haha.

ever thought of just making your own?
you say it's for a silly flash right? so it's not like it has to be perfect
