 So i guess I'm opening a chest so you guys can see my art and help me progress through :)
and here is the first one   ;)

Spell Caster - Character Concept

rtil

sounds good :)
where is his face? i think this piece is stronger than your previous one. his hand that's holding the book looks a little strange though

learmand

Thx! yeah had a hard time with the hand, i dint the draw the face to concentrate more on the pose instead  :)

Tardigrade

I think the legs may be a little too short, possibly. Not only that, but the posture concerning the legs above the rocks looks rather unnatural, as they don't seem to look bent enough. That may just be me, though.

slack

looks to be a very uncomfortable pose

i could hold that pose for only a few seconds before my legs give out

learmand

Here goes a tough one for me  O_O
hope you guys like it :)

rtil

i think that texture and background kind of clashes with the character. but i do like the robot

Tardigrade

I agree with Rtil, the texture of the landscape doesn't compliment the character well. If you're going to utilise those kind of masked textures, perhaps you should imply some variation with the ones you integrate, seeing as you only used the one texture for the background. Still, I rather like how you composed this one, the negative space works nicely.

It's horse stance. basic kung fu stance for building legs and core.

I'd say that's pretty low, even for horse

rtil

it still looks pretty painful
i see what pose he was going for but the legs are too wide

learmand

Hey! It's been a long time since i don't upload anything .... I've been practicing hard :what:.. and well this is something i draw for a  contest on DA, it was hard for me, as some of you know I'm not pretty skilled yet with tablets but this is my best attempt so far :)

rtil

it's cute, i think i understand the concept since i'm familiar with scribblenauts. i like the notepad paper feeling to it.
