It's been a while and I'm planning on sketching a whole fuck of a lot more, so new thread.

Today I drew a bit of Kala Tringvala. Kala is a farmer of sorts.


Here's a dinky Kala from when I was messing around with a certain style.


I'm still trying to get the exact face structure and the like down, but I've got most of her general physical details set. I haven't drawn much of it because I'm an idiot, but there's postures and movements and speech patterns for Kala that make her more unique than the wavy-haired eyelashy blob above.

And a completely different character. Guess the gender!

I love the really simple coloring. That going with the style gives it a really nice feel.
Also how do i pronounce tringvala?

VuV Thank you guys. I'm glad the colors are finally okay.

"Tringvala" is pronounced something like tree-ing-vah-lah.
She has an accent, so she would say something like dreen-vall, but she also sounds like a total country girl in her world.


I doodled a bit more Kala and some other people, but I'm currently working on this:

Jesus Christ I leave this forum for like five seconds

I am about to drink several tins of paint in these exact colors and vomit at my monitor in a desperate attempt to quote unquote digitally paint.
Please advise, are these good colors or should I drink different ones?

i think the colors are fine, but i think they coudl blend into eachother a little more gracefully instead of be flat solids. you can make almost any color combo work if you do some soft ambiance.
